Diana Stormrider Gen 2 Don’t Add A Second Barrel Band

#1 Due to the manufacturing, there is a mismatch in height from the receiver to the first barrel band. So the barrel slant downward or in my case upward. Adding the second barrel band will in (most cases) put an arc/bind on your barrel.

#2 A great alternative to a second barrel band is to buy a carbon tube/sleeve that fits over the barrel. this helps stop the barrel from moving without binding up your barrel and can be had for under $10 on eBay.

#3 The carbon tube you need should be 12mm inside diameter. Example of what you should see 14 x 12 x 500mm minimum… if you want a bit stiffer/thicker barrel 20 x 12 x 500mm should be around the max size.

#4 When installing the carbon tube it should start at the factory Barrel Band to the front sight. try to make as little gap as possible to help stop flex.

#5 To stop even more flex you can take the front sight off and have some pressure from the moderator/suppressor on the carbon tube but you will lose your front sight (so you better have a scope if you’re taking the front side off.

#7 Should look something like this when you are done!!!
